Check out The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. Historical Fiction set in Nazi Germany told from the omnipresent point of view of The Devil. I am surprised it's not on American Library Associations Banned Book List. Probably too new.

I love this book, but I thought it was told by Death. It really changes much if the narrator is the devil.
ReplyDeleteYou know... you are correct. I guess I just associated death with the devil they way the narrator kept speaking. But I was writing hastily and didn't pick up on the fact that I said devil instead of death.
ReplyDeleteI just finished reading last night, and I cried at the end. I know I've read a good book when I connect with the characters in a way that I care so much about their lives. It was a good book. I typically like a little more action, so I had to force myself to be patient while reading, as I wanted to get to what would happen nect.
